27/01 - H.E. Mgr. Antoine Hérouard (Archbishop of Dijon) and H.E. Mgr. Cyril Vasil’ (Archbishop of the Greek-Catholic Eparchy of Košice) participated on behalf of COMECE in the High-level Meeting between EU and Religious leaders. Following their participation, they have met with the press, sharing their thoughts and reflections about Churches' contribution in the context of the war in Ukraine, as well as on the implementation of Article 17 TFEU which foresees the dialogue between EU institutions and Churches.

25/01 - COMECE hosted a Prayer & Breakfast event to present the Message of Pope Francis for the World Peace Day which is celebrated annually on 1 January. The event was organised by Justice & Peace Europe whose outgoing President and the recently appointed Apostolic Nuncio to the EU, Archbishop Noel Treanor, offered his reflections on the message's theme "No one can be saved alone". His presentation was followed by an exchange with EU officials and Brussels representatives of Church and faith-based organisations.

27/01 - The Federation of Catholic Family Associations in Europe (FAFCE) invites artists to reflect on the figure of Saints of yesterday to think and create together for today. How do we see in 2023 Patrons Saints of the Catholic Church? The prizes for each of the six categories: 500 euros for the first prize, 300 euros for the second prize, and 200 euros for the third prize. This European Art Contest includes the following categories:

b) Sculpture, ceramic, stained glass

c) Video, performing arts, dance
